ZU Scholars is an institutional repository for all Zayed University's research, scholarship and creative works.
ZU Scholars can accommodate various content types. Examples of potential content include:
The work must be related to your work or studies at Zayed University and it must be complete and ready for distribution. See Submission Guidelines for further information.
You need a Bepress.com account to submit works to ZU Scholars. Please note that the Library may have already created an account for you if you have published new articles recently at Zayed University. If you don't have an account yet, see Create an account and log in or use this form to enter your details:
To add a full text file or otherwise revise an existing submission, please send the file(s) and requested changes by email to scholars@zu.ac.ae
This depends on the publisher's open access policy and a possible Copyright Transfer Agreement. Many publishers allow the Accepted Author Manuscript to be saved into the institutional repository. See Copyright and Permissions for more information.
SelectedWorks is a separate profile service where you can showcase all of your research and teaching information in one place. SelectedWorks profiles are also displayed within ZU Scholars.
The library imports publications from ZU Scholars to SelectedWorks regularly. You can also add content published outside Zayed University.
You can access ZU Scholars and SelectedWorks with the same Bepress.com account. You can also continue to use your SelectedWorks profile even if you move to another organization.
You can add various content to your SelectedWorks profile including:
See SelectedWorks Guide for Authors at Bepress.com.
Academic social networks such as ResearchGate and Academia.edu are not open access repositories and they may not be available forever. They also encourage you to upload full text files of publisher's versions which could lead to a copyright infringement if you don't follow the publisher's open access policies. ZU Scholars has many benefits over these services:
