New ProQuest RefWorks

Moving from Legacy RefWorks to new ProQuest RefWorks platform

The Legacy RefWorks will soon be upgraded to the new ProQuest RefWorks. We encourage library users to follow the guidelines below and move their accounts to new RefWorks before 31 December 2019During the transition period, our vendor, ExLibis, will continue maintain both legacy RefWorks and new RefWorks.

 

Important notes to consider before moving to the new ProQuest RefWorks:

1. Once you upgrade to new RefWorks, you CANNOT return to legacy RefWorks

2. To know the differences between the legacy and new RefWorks, please visit this ExLibris link to upgrading to the new RefWorks.

 

Follow these steps to move to the new ProQuest RefWorks.

1. Open legacy RefWorks and log in to your account.

2. On the upper left corner of your RefWorks homepage, click Move to the newest version of RefWorks from ProQuest link.

 

3. Once you click the link, you will be directed to the new ProQuest RefWorks platform. Type in your password then click Sign Up to create your account.

 

4. Fill in the necessary information.

 

5. Once you have signed up successfully, all your references/citation records from the legacy RefWorks will be imported to the new ProQuest RefWorks. Please note that if you have a lot of records, the importing process will take some time so be patient.
