Curriculum Resources Center

Mission

The Curriculum Resources Center (CRC) provides a selection of educational materials in all formats to support the teacher education curriculum of the School of Education.

Hours of Operation

The CRC is available for patrons to use whenever the library is open.  Staff are available to assist.

The CRC in Abu Dhabi is located in room LIB.3005 on the 3rd floor of the library.

The CRC in Dubai is located in a room within the main library. 

Collection Arrangement

Most materials are arranged in the Library of Congress Classification scheme and include:

• Books for children K-12 (which include big books, books K-12 with cassettes)
• Games
• Puzzles
• Kits
• Maps
• Charts
• Puppets
• Math manipulatives
• Videos
• Ellison machine and dye cuts that include the English and Arabic alphabet *
• laminating machine *
• TV with video *

(* Available only at the Dubai Campus)

Circulation

• CRC materials may circulate for a 21 day period, except AV materials, consistent with the Library's general circulation policy. 
• CRC materials are not available for Interlibrary loan due to their heavy usage within the School of Education.

CRC orientation classes may be held upon request.  Please contact Alecia Perkins for scheduling.
